Shipping policy

We understand that receiving your jewelry safely and efficiently is a priority. Please review our shipping policy carefully.

1. Fulfillment & Lead Times

Most of our jewelry is meticulously handmade to order. We appreciate your patience as we craft your piece.

  • Made-to-Order Pieces: Our standard lead time for made-to-order items is 2 to 6 weeks from the date of purchase. We cannot guarantee exact shipping dates for these items.

  • In-Stock / Ready-to-Ship Items: In-stock pieces will ship within 1 to 5 business days of purchase, provided the address verification is successful.

  • Engraving Services: If you request engraving, please allow an additional 2-3 weeks for your piece to ship, regardless of whether the item was in stock or made to order.

  • Notification: You will receive an email notification with your tracking number once your order has shipped.

2. Shipping Methods & Costs

We ship all orders fully insured and secured with a reliable carrier (e.g., UPS or DHL) for the highest level of security. All shipping fees will be quoted in your shopping cart before you finalize your order.

  • Domestic Shipping (USA): We offer various USPS and UPS options. All domestic orders over $500 require an adult signature upon delivery. Domestic US orders over $250 are eligible for free shipping.

  • International Shipping: We ship to most international countries via DHL Express and UPS — fully insured and tracked. Enjoy complimentary shipping on all international orders over $500 USD. Shipping fees for orders under $500 are calculated at checkout. Please note that our standard lead time for made-to-order pieces is 2–6 weeks; transit time once shipped is typically 3–7 business days to EU destinations and varies by region for other international orders.

3. Insurance & Liability (Crucial Protection)

All orders are shipped insured, and the cost of this insurance is included in your shipping fee.

  • Signature Required: For the highest level of security, an adult signature is mandatory for all deliveries for orders over $500. The carrier will not leave the package unattended.

  • Once In Transit: We are responsible for your package until the carrier confirms delivery and obtains a signature. We are no longer responsible for packages once they are successfully delivered and signed for, or if the customer waives the signature requirement directly with the carrier.

  • Lost/Damaged Packages In Transit: If your package is lost or damaged in transit (before confirmed delivery), we will assist you in filing an insurance claim with the carrier. The resolution timeline is subject to the carrier’s insurance process.

  • Opting Out of Insurance: We strongly recommend that you do not opt out of insurance coverage. If you decline insurance (if that option is available at checkout), we cannot be held responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages in transit.

4. International Orders, Customs, & Duties

  • Pricing & VAT: Prices for international orders (outside the US) may have local sales tax (VAT) deducted at checkout if applicable.

  • Customs/Import Fees: Local customs duties, taxes, and import fees may apply upon receipt and are not included in the purchase price or shipping fee. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.

  • Customs Brokerage: The shipping carrier will act as a broker to collect any customs duties due and may require additional information (e.g., personal tax ID) to clear your package through customs. We recommend contacting your local customs office for specific information regarding shipments from the US to your country.

5. Address Changes & Delivery Issues

  • Address Changes Before Shipment: If you need to change your shipping address before your order ships, please email us promptly at orders@annakikue.com.

  • Address Changes In Transit: We are not able to redirect orders once they are in transit. In this event, you must contact the carrier directly using your tracking number to make special delivery requests or have the package held at a local facility.

  • PO Boxes: Please note that we cannot deliver to P.O. boxes. A physical street address is required for all shipments.

6. Force Majeure

  • We are not liable for any delays or failure to perform any of our obligations under this policy if the delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, acts of terrorism, labor strikes, natural disasters, pandemics, or carrier delays.
